| MCC hosts London trip meeting Aug. 29 |
England’s legendary capital comes to life during Montcalm Community College’s eight-day study abroad trip to London, May 18-25, 2010.
An informational meeting is 10 a.m. Aug. 29 in room M120 at MCC’s Michigan Technical Education Center (M-TEC), 1325 Yellow Jacket Drive, Greenville. The trip is available to both MCC students and community members not enrolled at MCC.
The itinerary includes:
· A walking tour of London featuring the Strand, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square and Covent Garden.
· A guided tour of London featuring Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament, Piccadilly Circus, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (if scheduled).
· A guided tour of Windsor featuring Windsor Castle, St. George’s Castle, State Apartments and Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House.
· A guided excursion to Stonehenge and Bath or free time to explore London.
· A guided tour of the Tower of London.
· A guided Dickensian walking tour.
· A guided visit to the British Museum and attending an evening theater performance.
· Free time to explore London.
