Fall Online Registration Begins April 21, 2008
Online registration for MCC’s fall semester begins April 21. The schedule will be available April 1 through MCC’s Campus Web  at www.montcalm.edu/online or on MCC’s Web site  at www.montcalm.edu. Registration options are listed under Registration/Records on MCC’s Home page. Fall bills will be sent in July.  Renew your FAFSA for 2008-2009 and complete your financial aid file before July 11 to ensure estimated aid is applied to your account by the fall payment due date.

MCC’s Native American Club offers an Indian taco lunch.Doser Building Rooms 303-305

MCC’s Native American Club offers an Indian taco lunch and presentation by Bucko Teeple, Bay Mills Indian Community elder, at noon May 2 in rooms 303-05 in the MCC Beatrice E. Doser Building.  Teeple is a nationally known and respected elder, pipe carrier, dancer and keeper of traditional wisdom.  He will discuss “Native Activism and the Walleye Wars:  Treaties and Fishing Rights in the Great Lakes.”  Lunch is free to students with current MCC IDs and $2 for others.

21st Annual Heritage FestivalHeritage Village
Mark your calendar for the 20thannual Heritage Festival Aug. 2, 3 and 4 in Heritage Village on MCC’s Sidney campus.  The three-day celebration features historical displays, events, refreshments and music for all ages.  The MCC Foundation offers a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Aug. 4 in the cafeteria.  Proceeds fund an MCC scholarship.  The festival is offered by the Montcalm Heritage Village Committee, a group of community volunteers that works year around in the historical village; MCC and the MCC Foundation.

Bob Milne - Ragtime MusicBarn Theater
Enjoy the boogie-woogie and ragtime music of pianist Bob Milne during his 7:30-p.m. performance in MCC’s Barn Theater Aug. 10.  Milne highlights his tunes with commentaries about the music of the mid-1800s through the 1920s and continues to delight his audiences worldwide.  Tickets are $10 and are available at the door beginning at 7 p.m. Aug. 10.  A portion of the proceeds from the concert benefit Montcalm Heritage Village.  Contact Heritage Village volunteer Jesse Fox at 616/754-7202 for details.

21st Annual Heritage FestivalHeritage Village
Mark your calendar for the 20thannual Heritage Festival Aug. 2, 3 and 4 in Heritage Village on MCC’s Sidney campus.  The three-day celebration features historical displays, events, refreshments and music for all ages.  The MCC Foundation offers a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Aug. 4 in the cafeteria.  Proceeds fund an MCC scholarship.  The festival is offered by the Montcalm Heritage Village Committee, a group of community volunteers that works year around in the historical village; MCC and the MCC Foundation.
